Insid was once just a phantom in a human body. however, the phantom had given up the soul of its host which in turn gave the phantom complete and absolute control of the body. long story short, the Phantom known as Insid, or Crimson Rayne in its body, has now taken on a vampiric nature, only having to swear loyalty to the clan that turned it, which they did without question. after all, loyalty was not something that would get in the way of her agenda, so why not?
